FIELD: instrument engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a device for bending profiled workpieces, such as pipes. Device comprises at least one bending mandrel (36) centered on the bending axis having a peripheral groove, which is divided by a recess, a vertical row of counter-jaws (42–45), each of which comprises a cavity for clamping the profiled workpiece and has a shape, adapted to be inserted into the recess of each bending mandrel (36), with a cavity elongated as an inseparable whole with the peripheral groove of said bending mandrel; means (51–53) for vertical movement of vertical row of counter-jaws (42–45), arranged to move said vertical row along an axis parallel to the bending axis. Also, the device comprises vertical row of clamps (55–58) comprising cavities that are complementary to the cavities of counter-jaws (42–45), and means (70, 72–74, 76, 80, 81) for relative movement of the assembly formed by the bending mandrel (36), vertical row of counter-jaws (42–45) and vertical row of clamps (55–58).
EFFECT: provided result is shorter operating cycle.
