FIELD: motor vehicle industry.
SUBSTANCE: invention may be used in the manufacture of an automobile fuel supply line for supplying fuel to a direct injection system made of stainless steel. Pipeline is connected to the union by soldered seams obtained by brazing in a furnace using Cu-Ni brazing solder containing from 3 to 10 % wt. % of nickel. Diffusion layer with nickel content higher than in Cu-Ni brazing solder is placed between the stainless steel pipeline and Cu-Ni brazing solder. Nickel from stainless steel practically does not diffuse into Cu-Ni brazing solder. Brazing material may be in the form of a Cu-Ni alloy wire or Cu-Ni paste.
EFFECT: soldered part of the pipeline has excellent corrosion resistance.
