SUBSTANCE: invention relates to detection of temperature abnormalities for a power conversion device. Method for detecting temperature abnormalities for a power conversion apparatus is characterized by having a step for calculating a difference (step S12), calculating a temperature difference between temperature of first inverter and cooling water temperature, and first step of determining abnormality (step S13), on which the temperature abnormality is determined, when the first condition of abnormality detection is satisfied, wherein temperature difference exceeds preset threshold difference and temperature of first inverter exceeds predetermined threshold value of temperature of power conversion unit.

EFFECT: high accuracy of determining temperature abnormality.
