SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the food industry, in particular to a method for producing sugar. Method for producing a sugar-containing product according to which a food additive is added to the previously iodized crystalline sugar is added, mixed until a uniform consistency is obtained and dried, using sugar crystals with a particle size of 0.9–1.3 mm, with a sucrose content in terms of dry matter of not less than 99.95 % and a moisture content of not more than 0.02 %, as a food additive, a previously prepared vanilla flavor emulsion is used in an amount of 0.02–0.05 ml/kg to the mass of iodinated crystalline sugar.
EFFECT: proposed method makes it possible to obtain a homogeneous consistency and tonic properties, as well as maintaining a stable structure during its transportation and long-term storage.
