FIELD: food industry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to food industry. Method for producing a sugar-containing mixture used in the preparation of a salad dressing according to which a food additive is introduced into the iodinated crystalline sugar, are mixed until a uniform consistency is obtained and dried to a moisture content of not more than 0.02 %. As a food additive, a premixed powder mixture of basil, cress salad, rosemary, parsley and nasturtium is used in ratio of 1:2:3:2:1, in amount of 0.02–0.05 mg/kg to the mass of iodinated crystalline sugar.
EFFECT: method makes it possible to obtain a product that maintains a stable structure during its transportation and long-term storage.
