SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the food industry, in particular to a method for producing sugar. Method for producing a sugar-containing product according to which a nutritional supplement is added to the iodinated crystalline sugar, stirring until a uniform consistency is obtained and dried, using sugar crystals with a particle size of 0.9–1.3 mm, with a sucrose content in terms of dry matter of at least 99.95 % and a moisture content of not more than 0.02 %, as a food additive, previously prepared barberry flavor emulsion is used in the amount of 0.06–0.09 ml/kg to the mass of iodinated crystalline sugar.
EFFECT: proposed method makes it possible to obtain a sugar-containing product with a homogeneous consistency and tonic properties, as well as maintaining a stable structure during its transportation and long-term storage.
