FIELD: instrument engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to instrument engineering and can be used in the static balancing of gyrostabilizer frames. When the method is implemented, the unbalance is measured by the balancing gyrostabilizer itself while rotating its frames at a constant angular velocity by means of a drive including a frame position sensor and a torque motor included in the gyrostabilizer.
EFFECT: technical result consists in removing restrictions on the mass of the balancing gyrostabilizer, increasing the sensitivity and accuracy of measurements of the unbalance, reducing labor intensity and increasing the degree of automation of balancing operations.
