SUBSTANCE: method involves the producing ball powder in a reactor with a heating system including the reactor jacket, a collector, pipelines in which, in the stages of powder formation, saturated steam with a temperature of 60-98°C at a pressure of 0.200-0.950 atm is supplied as a coolant to the reactor jacket.

EFFECT: method ensures uniform heat removal throughout the wall surface of the reactor, which leads to improved ballistic characteristics of the powders, increased reactor productivity, elimination of reaction mass emissions, and reduced energy costs for the production of ball powders.
