FIELD: electronics.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to electrochromic windows, in particular to window controllers. Window controller comprising a first electrode layer, a second electrode layer and an electrochromic layer, located between the first layer and the second layer, the controller comprising: command-voltage generator; a PWM signal generator, configured to generate: first PWM signal for supplying power to the first layer, second PWM signal for supplying power to the second layer; first and second filters for filtering the first and second PWM signals. And the first and second PWM signals are complementary signals, such that the first part of the first PWM signal coincides with the first part of the second PWM signal and the second part of the first PWM signal coincides with the second part of the second PWM signal, and the PWM signal generator is configured to control the first and second operating cycles to increase or decrease the durations of the first parts of the first and second PWM signals relative to the durations of the second portions of the first and second PWM signals in response to the control voltage signal during operation of the optically switchable device to increase or decrease effective DC voltage, applied to an optically switchable device.

EFFECT: technical result is to increase the energy efficiency of the electrochromic windows supply.
