FIELD: construction.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to electrochromic windows and to methods for their manufacture. In the method, an optically switchable window contains a non-rectangular optically switchable device comprising a first side, a second side and a third side adjacent to the second side, a first bus bar covering the first portion along the first side of the non-rectangular optically switchable device, and a second bus bar covering the second portion of the second side of the non-rectangular optically switchable device, wherein the second side is opposite to the first side. In this case, the first bus bar and the second bus bar are made with the ability to apply voltage to the optically switchable device.
EFFECT: ability to manufacture windows of complex geometric shapes, for example, shapes that have curved edges or edges that are not at right angles to adjacent edges.
