SUBSTANCE: invention relates to mobile communication. Method for detecting the neighbor cell during cell reselection processing comprises the following: receiving the first message for instructing the user equipment to switch from the connected state to the waiting state, wherein the first message comprises the first group of frequency bands; updating of the second group of frequency bands, the group is stored in the user equipment in accordance with the first group of frequency bands; detecting the neighbor cell in the frequency band in the updated second group of frequency bands when performing cell reselection.
EFFECT: technical result is to enable the UE to detect the neighbor cell after rapidly moving the UE and accessing the new cell, which is located at a large distance, which improves the success rate of the neighbor cell UE detection and ensures the stability of the connection for data transmission of the UE and the system.
