SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a method of producing the surface structure of a large-size pressing tool. Technical result is achieved by a method for manufacturing surface structure (2) of a large-size pressing tool with an edge length of more than 1 m, in particular pressing plate (1) or endless belt, for pressing material plates, plastic films, separating films, PVC surfaces, LVT (luxury vinyl tiles), cheque cards, passports, credit cards, or plastic cards, which comprises the following steps: providing and using digitised data of 3D topography of surface structure (2); creating digitised data of individual 2D layers (4) of the 3D topography, using the digitised data of 2D layers (4) to guide processing head (28) and/or position the processing head in an XY-plane, or to move work table (21) in the plane spanned by an X-Y coordinate system in relation to stationary processing head (28), in order to connect a layer material to existing carrier material (3) or an already completed layer depending on the digitised data of 2D layers (4), wherein surface structure (2), regardless of the repeating rapport, is divided into partial regions, each of which is sequentially processed or partially processed in parallel by several processing heads, and/or the boundaries of the partial regions can be freely selected, and/or the set partial regions, depending on processing head (28) used, have an edge length of 10 cm to 100 cm.
EFFECT: technical result is improved environmental safety and simplification of production technology.
