FIELD: electric power engineering.
SUBSTANCE: use: in electric power engineering. Overhead power line consists of three phases, each of which is formed by two wires, suspended on supports at different heights. Bottom wire does not have a dip and besides fastening on supports it is fixed to the upper wire by metal conductors. This eliminates the horizontal movement of the line phases. Due to this, the distances between phases are reduced, respectively, inductive resistance of the line decreases and capacitive conductivity increases. Natural power of the line and its capacity are increasing. Distance between the wires of the phase increases from a few centimeters in the middle of the span to several meters near the supports, which also increases the natural power.
EFFECT: technical result is the prevention of horizontal phase displacement.
