FIELD: transportation.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to pipeline transport – construction and repair of a line pipe of gas, oil and product pipelines, in particular to cleaning the pipes outer surface (pipelines) of factory-applied highly reinforced insulation, for example, a multi-layered polyethylene coating. Cleaning tool is a nozzle for a rotary drive in the form of a plate of elastic metal or an alloy of metals in the form of a polygon with at least three sides, with corner cutting edges and a hole for fixing the nozzle on the rotary drive. At least one of the corner cutting edges is bent.
EFFECT: removal of all layers of insulation without the pipe and welds integrity damage, simplicity and ease of construction.
