FIELD: erection of pipe lines; cleaning of outer surfaces of pipe lines from old insulation, rust, dirt, etc. SUBSTANCE: working mechanism includes rotor with set of cleaning members fitted on it. Each cleaning tool is made in form of plate with ends bent in opposite directions; cleaning tools are provided with cleaning and finishing appliances. Plate has holes with spacer tubes for drawing the flexible member and securing plate on flexible member. Tools have ground spots; finishing tool has groove for removal of material from pipe line. EFFECT: simplified construction, ease in handling and sparing conditions in passing the weld seams. 2 cl, 7 dwg
