FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to medicine, namely to neurology and manual therapy, orthopedics, and can be used in the treatment of musculoskeletal disorders with muscular-fascial tissue damage. Method of local pressing-distraction action on deep muscular-fascial tissues is proposed. To do this, palpation reveals points that are characterized by soreness, rigidity, have a dense consistency and cause reflex reactions. In points located at a distance of at least 5 mm in the direction of the planned distraction from the previously identified points, elastic contact elements and pressing is carried out with a value of a pressing force of 2 to 20 kg and compression of the elastic contact elements to form a skin-subcutaneous fold between them. Then, using elastic contact elements, stretching of the muscle-fascial tissues is performed. Distractor containing at least two rods attached to one of the ends on the handle is also proposed, with the possibility of their angular deviation with respect to the vertical axis of the handle. Free ends of the rods are elastic contact elements for pressing-distraction action. In this case, the rods are made at least 8 cm long and are connected by an elastic hinge with the possibility of their angular deviation not less than 5° relative to the vertical axis of the handle.
EFFECT: inventions provide effective impact on muscular-fascial tissues while reducing the likelihood of their overextension and trauma, as well as simplifying the design of the device providing the implementation of the method, while reducing the physical load on the doctor, and simplifying the sanitary and hygienic treatment of the device.
