FIELD: scientific instruments.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to scientific instrumentation and is a device used in conducting a number of physical and chemical studies to study the microstructure and conductivity of membrane samples, for which the external conditions of the experiment are critical. A device for studying the structural and transport properties of membranes under conditions of controlled ambient temperature and humidity is proposed, which is a sealed chamber with a system for monitoring and regulating the temperature and humidity of the experimental sample, consisting of two main parts, a composite housing and a lid. The composite housing of the device contains a temperature block consisting of an active cooling system and a Peltier element, on the outer side of which a system of conductive contacts is applied, with the possibility of placing an experimental sample of the membrane on it. Moreover, the composite housing of the device contains a system for fixing the membrane with a controlled force of its pressing against the Peltier element, represented by a stepper motor connected to the plate, with a system of conductive contacts applied to it, by means of a system of hinges and levers, including a lever made in the form of a narrow elastic plate, a hinge-type connection and a transfer mechanism. EFFECT: provided is ability to conduct experiments with simultaneous study of the structural and transport characteristics of experimental samples of membranes with varying sample temperature, as well as the composition and humidity of the atmosphere created around it.
