SUBSTANCE: invention relates to an information pushing method and device. Method comprises following steps: recording actions performed by a user over video content; determining whether the user acquires update information about the video content according to the actions; monitor video content when determining whether the user acquires updated information about video content; and pushing the updated information to the user when the video content is updated.
EFFECT: technical result consists in timely updating of news about video content for the user and accurate reflection of user preferences regarding viewing of video content.
