FIELD: manipulators.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to industrial robotics and can be used in the design of robots with external magnetic systems and for mechanization of technological operations. Robot comprises a base and a platform connected by an electric drive. Electric drive is made in the form of a stator containing upper and lower disc washers arranged to form an annular gap therebetween and a magnetic circuit with an excitation coil disposed therebetween, mechanical transmissions and rotors. Rotors are located in the annular gap between the upper and lower disc washers. Each rotor is made with a shaft connected to a mechanical transmission to convert the rotational motion of the shaft into translational motion to move the platform in the required direction.
EFFECT: invention is aimed at increasing the service area and reducing the weight of the robot.
