FIELD: measuring equipment.
SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to testing and measuring equipment, in particular to devices for measuring characteristics of explosion of ammunition or explosive charge in near zone from target, when distance from ammunition or charge to target does not exceed 10 gauges. Device for braking of ballistic pendulum contains directly massive body of pendulum. It is suspended by means of rigid tie-rods to fixed support. A braking mechanism is arranged on the side of the dorsal pendulum tip. This mechanism is made in the form of system of solenoids with windings and ferromagnetic cores. One of the solenoids is arranged on the body of the pendulum near its back tip. Second solenoid is arranged on rigid support. At that, solenoids system is provided with possibility of their creation with magnetic forces with opposite direction, providing braking and stopping of ballistic pendulum, and changing polarity and current in the solenoid winding of the stopped ballistic pendulum or placed on the support. Such design provides return of said pendulum into working position.
EFFECT: possibility of controlling the motion of the body of the pendulum, as well as high safety during testing.
