FIELD: metallurgy.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a steel sheet coated with an Al-based alloy impregnated into a melt having a high workability. Al-based alloy coating layer provided by immersion in the melt contains from 1.0 to 12.0 % by weight of silicon and from 0.002 to 0.080 % by weight of boron and is formed on the surface of the steel substrate sheet, the coating layer having a ratio IMAX/I0, equal to 2.0 or more, obtained by measuring the depth profile with the help of optical emission spectrometry with a glow discharge (GDS) from the outer surface into the depth of the coating layer, where IMAX is the maximum intensity of detection of boron in zones with a spray depth from 0 to 1.0 mcm, and I0 is the average intensity of detection of boron within the depth of spraying from 1.0 to 5.0 mcm. Invention is intended to increase the resistance to scuffing of an Al-based alloy coating, applied by immersion in a melt of a steel sheet.

EFFECT: invention is intended to increase the resistance to scuffing of an Al-based alloy coating deposited by melt-casting a steel sheet.
