FIELD: metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of metallurgy, specifically to wear-resistant casting steels, and can be used for parts operating under conditions of high impact loading with irregular cycling, as well as parts operating under conditions of intense abrasion. Wear-resistant metastable austenitic steel, containing, wt%: carbon 0.03–0.08; manganese 14.0–15.5; chromium 14.0–16.0; nickel 4.5–5.0; nitrogen 0.15–0.25; vanadium 0.2–0.4; cerium 0.005–0.03; calcium 0.005–0.02; silicon 0.1–0.5; molybdenum 0.2–0.3; aluminium 0.005–0.08; iron and impurities – the balance.
EFFECT: high operational stability of cast parts due to higher plasticity and toughness of castings from the claimed steel while maintaining its high wear resistance.
