FIELD: engines and pumps.
SUBSTANCE: invention can be used in internal combustion engines (ICE). Gas distributing mechanism of the four-stroke ICE consists of cylinder head (1) provided with front, middle, rear and intermediate supports (4), (5), (6), (21), camshaft (8) with cams (9), (10), sprockets (20) and spring-loaded valves (14), (15) with rockers (12). Camshaft (8) with cams (9), (10) and asterisk (20) are movably disposed in supports (4), (5), (6), (21). Camshaft (8) is driven by a chain from the engine's crankshaft. There are axes (11) of rocker arms (12) for controlling spring-loaded valves (14), (15). Distributing shaft (8) together with cams (9), (10) is made of an elastic material. Cams (9) of the intake valves are hollow. Cams (9) of the intake valves in the longitudinal section have a conical shape with different wall thickness along their length, changing towards their contact surfaces with valves. Bending stiffness of inlet cams (9) in the transverse plane is lower than the longitudinal stiffness of the valve springs, and the longitudinal stiffness of the inlet cams is higher when compressed than the valve springs.
EFFECT: technical result consists in changing the phases of opening the intake valves.
