FIELD: engines and pumps.
SUBSTANCE: gas distributing mechanism of a four-stroke internal combustion engine comprises a head (1) of cylinders, a board (3) of front, middle, rear and intermediate supports (5), (6), (7) (8), where a distributing shaft (9) with cams (10) and a sprocket (18) are installed movably, and the shaft is rotated with a chain from the engine crank shaft, and axes (11) of yokes (12) of valve (14) control. The board (3) is installed on the outer horizontal surface of the head (1) of cylinders, along its longitudinal plane. The board (3) is connected with the help of hinged joints (4) with the head (1) of cylinders. On the board (3) there are rigidly fixed front, middle, rear and intermediate supports (5), (6), (7) (8), which carry the distributing shaft (9) with cams (10) and axes (11) of valve yokes.
EFFECT: elimination of valve breakdown in case of drive fault.
