FIELD: mechanical engineering; gasoline four-stroke internal combustion engines. SUBSTANCE: proposed internal combustion engine contains two rows of valves installed at angle, two intake and two exhaust valves per cylinder, set into operation by rockers from camshaft, rockers of intake valves being installed on one common shaft and rockers of exhaust valves, on other common shaft, and spark plug arranged in well cast in its lower part to walls of intake channels and with its central electrode getting into central part of combustion chamber. Camshaft is installed higher than valve rocker shaft and end faces of valve stems. Invention makes it possible to decrease angle of valve tilting, reduce width of cylinder head, length and mass of valve rockers, increase rigidity of valve drive. EFFECT: provision of compact design and increased speed and power characteristics of engine. 1 dwg
