OPTICAL COMPUTING SYSTEM FOR DIAGNOSTICS AND FAULT HANDLING Russian patent published in 2018 - IPC G01V13/00 G01V8/00 E21B47/06 G01N21/25

Abstract RU 2657027 C1

FIELD: test equipment.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of geology. Claimed solution includes performing a check test on the device using a number of reference fluids, the device having a calibrated optical sensor mounted therein and containing one or more optical elements. One or more device sensor responses from a calibrated optical sensor can be obtained and pre-processed, and one or more of the tool sensor responses can be compared with the calibrated optical sensor responses received from the optical sensor during calibration, and thus detect one or more deviations from the normal operation of the optical sensor. One or more deviations from the normal operation of the optical sensor can be estimated using performance analysis using one or more potential models, and an alternative potential model can be selected to minimize one or more deviations from the normal operation of the optical sensor. One or more correction options may be implemented in cases where an alternative potential model is not able to minimize one or more deviations from the normal operation of the optical sensor.

EFFECT: technical result is the stabilization of the normal operation of the optical sensor.
