FIELD: high-frequency engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to high-frequency hardware and can be used producing high-frequency radiation generators (HFG). High-frequency pulse generator based on a hollow cathode discharge contains a gas discharge chamber, formed by a hollow cathode and an anode, power source and electric load are connected to the electrodes of the chamber, connected to the gas discharge chamber through a matching resistance transformer, which is a resonant line. Generator is supplemented with at least one additional gas discharge chamber connected to the power source with identical geometric dimensions, to this chamber through a matching resistance transformer, which is a resonant line, electric load is connected, and the resonant frequencies for all matching resistance transformers, and the generator composition, coincide, while all the matching resistance transformers have an electromagnetic coupling among themselves.
EFFECT: technical result is increased power of high-frequency pulses generated by the generator.
