FIELD: electrical engineering.

SUBSTANCE: proposed generator comprises gas-discharge chamber made by hollow cathode with its open camber facing anode isolated from the latter and closing it. It comprises also power supply connected to gas-discharge chamber electrodes, vacuum system communicated with the chamber inside. Note here that electric load is connected parallel to chamber electrodes. Additionally, generator comprises the device designed to form low-scattering flow of charged particles in hollow cathode cavity, right opposite the anode. Aforesaid device can be represented by magnetic field source. In particular case, solenoid embracing gas-discharge chamber can make aforesaid source of magnetic field. Note here that hollow cathode, anode and solenoid are arranged coaxially.
