FIELD: wireless communication equipment.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to the wireless communication technique and can be used in the communication systems, which are capable of operating in the carrier aggregation scenarios. Disclosed radio receiver circuit (10) is configured in order to operate in the carrier aggregation mode (CA), and in the mode without CA. It comprises the first receive path (30), which shall be connected to the antenna (15) and the second receive path (40), which shall be connected to the same antenna (15). It also comprises the control unit (50), which is operatively connected to the first receive path (30) and to the second receive path (40). In the CA mode, the control unit (50) instructs the first receive path (30) to receive the first CC (6) and the second receive path (40) to receive the second CC (8). In the non-CA mode, the first receive path (30) and the second receive path (40) are selectively controlled by the control unit (50), so that both receive the same single CC (6).
EFFECT: increased productivity due to the use of the radio receiver circuit, which is designed in order to work with the CA, when operating without the CA.
