FIELD: metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to metallurgy and can be used in the preparation of master alloys for alloying and modifying aluminum alloys containing zirconium and titanium. Master alloy for aluminum alloys of Al-Zn-Mg-Cu and Al-Cu-Mg systems contains, mass%: copper 27–33, zirconium 3.5–4.5, titanium 0.5–2.0, aluminum and unavoidable impurities as the rest.
EFFECT: invention makes it possible to improve the structure of ingots, reduce the tendency to hot brittleness due to the reduced content of silicon, reduce the volume of charge materials and the time of their preparation.
