SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to medicine, particularly to obstetrics, and can be used in assisted reproduction to prevent an unsuccessful outcome of implantation into the uterus of a female mammal. To this end, a composition containing an effective amount of N-acetyl-5-methoxytryptamine (melatonin) and/or an analogue thereof, selected from agomelatine, 6-hydroxymelatonin, serotonin, 5-hydroxytryptophan is administered topically. Also disclosed is a composition for topical application for preventing an unsuccessful outcome of implantation in the uterus and a medical device for rinsing the uterus.
EFFECT: group of inventions provides an increase in the probability of implantation of the embryo by inhibiting melatonin synthesis of prostaglandins and reducing uterine contraction.
