FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: group of inventions refers to medicine, namely, oncology, and can be used to treat cancer in a subject. To this end, the subject is administered intramedullary administration of a pharmaceutical composition comprising a therapeutic agent, wherein the therapeutic agent is a platinum and/or vinca alkaloid compound, and an intracellular penetration enhancing agent. Moreover, the agent that enhances intracellular penetration does not have therapeutic activity and is selected from 6-oxo-6-phenylhexanoic acid, 8-cyclohexyl-8-oxoctanoic acid, N-[8-(2-hydroxybenzoyl)amino]octanoic acid or pharmaceutically acceptable salts of any of the foregoing. Composition is a liquid solution and formulated for intratumoral administration. Methods of treating cancer by administering a composition comprising cisplatin and/or vinblastine and an intracellular penetration enhancing agent selected from 6-oxo-6-phenylhexanoic acid, 8-cyclohexyl-8-oxo-octanoic acid, N-[8-(2-hydroxybenzoyl)amino]octanoic acid.
EFFECT: group of inventions provides treatment for cancer and its metastases in the subject.
