SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to extraction of blood components. Apparatus for mixing a blood component and an additive solution comprises a system of bags comprising a primary bag for a blood component, a solution bag containing an additive solution, and a collecting satellite bag for collecting a blood component to which an additive solution is added, said bags being connected to each other by means of tubes. Apparatus comprises an extraction device for extracting a blood component, a control device for transferring the extracted component and the additive solution in case if the bags are not combined, to the collecting satellite bag by means of tubes, a stirring device for stirring the satellite bag during the transfer of the extracted blood component and the additive solution to the satellite bag, as well as a drive system for controlling the extraction device, the control device, and the stirring device. Also disclosed is a method for mixing at least one blood component.

EFFECT: group of inventions makes it possible to obtain in an automated manner a homogeneous mixture of a blood component and an additive solution.
