FIELD: measuring equipment.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of radiation research. High-intensity pulsed neutron radiation spectrometer contains metal housing, inside which are in-series located target from the hydrogen containing material, and metal collimator, recoil protons flat absorbing filters of different thicknesses and charge collectors, conjugated and equal in area with protons absorbing filters, collectors are connected to electrical measuring instruments, all of the spectrometer elements are made of materials with close atomic number, wherein the hydrogen containing material target thickness is selected less than the recoil protons range with energy equal to the neutrons energy minimum value in the analyzed spectrum composition, collimator has the honeycomb structure with the cells transverse dimension less than the longitudinal dimension, and the ratio of the honeycomb longitudinal and transverse dimensions and the protons absorbing filters thickness is determined from the conditions for the neutron energy distribution measuring accuracy and the measuring paths sensitivity.

EFFECT: increase in the neutrons spectral distribution determination accuracy in the fields of high-intensity pulsed neutron radiation.
