FIELD: measurement technology.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of radiation measurements. Disclosed is a method of determining electrical signals in dielectric-metal structures under action of high-intensity pulsed ionizing radiation based on measurement results on static low-intensity radiation sources, according to which electret charges in dielectric material are compensated, the structure is irradiated on a static low-intensity radiation source with a spectral composition close to the spectral composition of high-intensity pulsed radiation, current is measured between electrodes of the irradiated structure, determining electric signals under action of high-intensity pulsed radiation as per measured current, wherein two stable current states are detected and corresponding values of the criterial parameter are determined, depending on absorbed dose rate and duration of irradiation, electric signals are determined under action of high-intensity pulsed radiation by current measured at criterial parameter corresponding to conditions of high-intensity pulsed irradiation.
EFFECT: high accuracy of measuring ionizing radiation.
