SUBSTANCE: invention relates to radiation measurements and can be used for detecting neutron radiation mono directional flow density at nuclear-physical units of different types and purposes. Method of measuring flux density of neutron radiation of low intensity in static fields of mixed gamma-neutron radiation, according to which measurements are performed by the detector, in which the body, metal collector, hydrogen-containing and hydrogen-free dielectric plates are made of materials with similar effective atomic numbers. In this case, dielectric plates of hydrogen-containing material in synchronism with given period are brought out of the detector and returned to its original position.
EFFECT: improving accuracy of measuring low-intensity neutron flux density in static fields of mixed gamma-neutron radiation.
