FIELD: defectoscopy.
SUBSTANCE: present invention relates to vibroacoustic diagnostics of turbomachines, primarily to bearing assemblies of a turbojet engine (TE). Method includes measuring the amplitude values of a sensor signal in a dry motoring mode, setting a threshold level of a signal amplitude according to their averaged values, comparing thee measured amplitude values with a diagnostic threshold level and determining a defect characteristic according to the comparison results. Measurement of the amplitude values of the signal is made with an acoustic microphone installed at a representative point inside the engine housing, the engine output to the dry motoring mode is determined from the excess of a set value of the amplitudes of the signals of the blades and a rotor rotation frequencies. Measured amplitude values of the signal in the dry motoring mode over the entire frequency range are filtered from frequencies not associated with bearing assemblies defects, and are divided into at least two ranges characterizing the degree of defect development. Values of the threshold and measured frequency amplitudes are approximated in logarithmic coordinates, and determination of the defect characteristic is made based on the comparison results in each range of the threshold rms vibration value with the rms value of the measured amplitude in the dry motoring mode.
EFFECT: technical result consists in the possibility of determining the defects of bearing assemblies in the early stages, high noise immunity and low probability of false positives.
