FIELD: biochemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to biochemistry. Method for PCR diagnosis of mixed chronic recurrent eye infections is described. Essence of the claimed method consists in simultaneous screening of eye infections of viral and bacterial etiology in several biological samples. Specifically in a tear or scrapes with the conjunctiva and in saliva, blood, urine.
EFFECT: claimed method allows to optimize treatment of mixed chronic recurrent infections of the anterior segment of the eye, in particular keratitis and keratouveitis, which increases the effectiveness of treatment of mixed chronic recurrent eye infections.
