SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the vehicles traction system control devices. Locomotive traction generator microprocessor control system contains diesel generator, exciter, traction generator voltage sensor, traction generator load current sensor, diesel generator shaft speed sensor, fuel to diesel engine supply sensor, exciter excitation unit, pneumatic brake control unit, operational information display unit, interface unit, locomotive speed sensor and microprocessor controller. Controller includes first and second master devices, first, second and third comparators, functional converter, adder, multiplier, first and second integrators. Traction generator microprocessor control system is equipped with the reverser control unit, whistle control unit, sandbox control unit, locomotive and portable wireless communication units.

EFFECT: technical result consists in enabling the locomotive operation in the automated driving mode with control from external control system.
