FIELD: electrician; transport.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a method of controlling electric traction system of vehicles. Way to regulate electric transmission of electric in mode of electric brake is as follows. Set the braking force of the locomotive, the first armature current setting and the first excitation current setting. Maximum anchor current and maximum rotation frequency of one of electric motors are selected. Inverse value of the maximum rotation frequency is calculated, the calculated value is taken as the second setting of armature current. Minimum value of electric motor armature current settings is compared with value of armature maximum current, result of comparison is multiplied with value of calculated average magnetic flux, and set preset braking force is corrected by multiplication result. Corrected setting of preset braking force is compared with result of multiplication of average magnetic flux values and average value of anchor current, result of comparison is integrated, and obtained result is taken as second setting of excitation current. Minimum setting is selected from excitation current settings to control excitation current.

EFFECT: technical result consists in providing stable operation of electric locomotive electric brake.
