SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a disposable absorbent article (1) such as a pant diaper, hygienic briefs or urological trunks. Product comprises main part (2) and absorbent body (5). Main part (2) has front part (3) and rear part (4), and each of front and rear parts (3, 4) has belt edge (7, 8), two edges (9, 10, 13, 14) for legs and two lateral edges (11, 12, 15, 16). Front and rear parts (3, 4) are connected to each other on opposite side edges (11, 12, 15, 16) for at least partial formation of waist hole (18) and two holes (19) for legs. Absorbent body (5) is located mainly in perier part (22) of article (1). Elastic element (17, 20) for legs is attached to main part (2) at least partially along legs (9, 10, 13, 14), and article (1) has longitudinal direction (y) and transverse direction (x). Elastic element (17, 20) for legs passes from corresponding lateral edge (11, 12, 15, 16) to axial line (28) passing in longitudinal direction (y) of article (1). Part of elastic element (17, 20) for legs has the first length (L1), on which distance (D) between any point of each edge (9, 10, 13, 14) for the leg and the nearest part of elastic element (17, 20) for legs in longitudinal direction is less than 6 millimeters, in particular less than 5 millimeters and more specifically less than 4 millimeters. First length (L1) makes at least 55 % of the maximum length (L2) of leg opening (19) in transverse direction (x) measured when absorbent product (1) is stretched.
