FIELD: transportation; packing and storage.

SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to filling a product, especially liquid food products, in a container. Containers pass through the working chamber of the device from the input side to the output side. To prevent contamination, the containers passing through the working chamber are exposed to a sterile fluid, especially sterile air. At the same time, an external line, having several gas holes for introducing sterile air into the working chamber, passes through the working chamber, and in the external line there is an internal line having several holes for spraying a cleaning agent. In the longitudinal direction between the internal and external lines, there is an annular chamber having a closed end and, starting from the inlet to the closed end, an inlet for supplying a sterile fluid therein. Cross-sectional area of the annular chamber is at least sectionally changed in the longitudinal direction, thereby allowing at least a sectional effect on the static pressure and flow rate of the sterile fluid in the annular chamber such that a constant pressure distribution along the length of the external line is achieved. Method for filling a container with a product is carried out by using the device described above.

EFFECT: increased sterility due to the uniform distribution of sterile fluid.
