FIELD: laser engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to laser equipment. Active element assembly of a solid-state laser with longitudinal pumping contains a radially symmetrical active element, located in a radially symmetrical heat sink jacket, consisting of two split frames with lodgments, forming a radially symmetrical channel when aligned. Between the active element and the lodges of the heat sink jacket is placed a gasket of a plastically deformable heat conducting material of thickness t. Through the entire length of the lodgment L, grooves are made, forming a spatial periodic structure of protrusions and valleys of an arbitrary profile with a step h determined by the relation h<<L, and with the volume of the free space of the periodic structure is large, than the volume of the gasket material. Thickness of the gasket is greater than the guaranteed gap Δ between the projection of the periodic structure and the lateral surface of the active element - t>Δ, which in turn is equal to or greater than the tolerance value σ for the manufacture of parts to be connected Δ≥σ.
EFFECT: technical result is ensured possibility of uniform distribution of the material of the gasket, load and thermal resistance along the length of the active element.
