FIELD: technological processes.
SUBSTANCE: method relates to the processing of high-temperature alloys on a nickel base with a carbide tool. Based on the results of short-term tests, the cutting temperature is determined, at which the coefficient of uniformity of the chip scraps changes. On the plot of the cutting temperature versus the cutting velocity at this temperature, the optimum cutting velocity is determined.
EFFECT: labor saving of determining the optimum cutting velocity is reduced.
