FIELD: machine building.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to equipment for producing extruded work pieces in the manufacture of powdered lead oxide used in the manufacture of lead-acid batteries. Workpieces are extruded from a lead plate with a thickness of 20±1 mm, formed by cutting-off from a lead ingot. Device comprises two hollow drums arranged to rotate towards each other. Wall of each drum is made with equally spaced cavities with ejectors installed in them. Cavities are arranged on the drums in a staggered order with the exception of the coincidence of the cavities of two drums when they rotate and are made in the form of a prism. Prism has a height of 19 mm, a small base with dimensions of 20×20 mm and a larger base with dimensions 23×23 mm. Larger base is located on the contact surface of the drum.
EFFECT: as a result, the uniformity of the range size of the powdered lead oxide obtained from the workpiece is ensured.
