FIELD: construction.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of construction, in particular to methods of protecting the roof drainage elements against icing. Method includes an artificial increase in the speed of movement of melt water along inclined and vertical drainage elements of the roof of the building. To increase the speed of movement of melt water along the drainage elements of the roof, but all the perimeter of the building, under the edge of the roof, thin plates are placed in the immediate vicinity of the melting water flowing from it, facing the edge of the edge of the roof and the inner part of the drainage channels, made of sylvinite.
EFFECT: technical result of invention consists in improvement of roof load-carrying capacity.
