FIELD: paper.
SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to the production of paper rolls. Installation for the production of paper rolls contains rewind-cutting machine and pipe forming machine. Method for producing paper rolls comprises the step of producing logs of a paper product. Logs are produced by winding a predetermined amount of paper web around a tubular sleeve. Cross-cutting of logs is carried out to obtain rolls of a given length. Sleeves are produced using a pipe forming machine. Position of the pipe forming machine intersects with the direction of the paper entering the re-cutting machine.
EFFECT: area required for equipment placement is reduced without compromising the efficiency and quality of the final product.
