SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to the food industry, in particular to a method and apparatus for manufacturing beverage containers. Method for manufacturing beverage containers (10) comprises steps of: providing a compressed container, subjecting the compressed container to a gaseous medium for expansion, wherein preferably during expansion, the thickness of the walls of the container changes by no more than 10%, filling the expanded container with fluid. Device (1) for manufacturing containers (10) filled with fluids comprises expansion device (36) suitable and designed to expand containers manufactured by the moulding process and then pressurised by the action of a gaseous medium, and filling device (12) located downstream of expansion device (36) in container conveying direction (10) and configured to fill the expanded containers with fluid.
EFFECT: use of group of inventions enables to simplify the transportation of large containers.
