FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine and molecular biology, namely to phthisiology, and can be used in laboratory diagnosis of pulmonary tuberculosis. Method for isolating DNA of clinical isolates of Mycobacterium tuberculosis from lung tissue consists in adding to the sample a lung tissue contained in a test tube containing glass beads, decontaminating a lysis buffer of 5 M GuSCN, 100 mM TRIS HCl pH 8.0, 10 mM EDTA pH 8.0, 100 mM NaCl, 0.5 % SDS, followed by centrifugation and precipitation with alcohol.
EFFECT: invention provides a high DNA isolation efficiency characterized by a sample concentration on average of 116,031 ng/mcl, a high quality DNA isolation characterized by a ratio of A260/A280, equal to 1,83, and the speed of the DNA extraction process.
