BLADE COATING APPLICATION DEVICE Russian patent published in 2018 - IPC B05B15/16

Abstract RU 2659258 C1

FIELD: manufacturing technology.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the blades coating devices and can be used to apply anticorrosive coating, for example, to the turbofan engine stator or rotor blades. Vanes coating device, which is provided with metal casing for the vane body leading edge portion covering, comprises: clamping device, which supports the blade, nozzle, which sprays the paint on the blade body surface with exception of the blade metal casing supported by the clamping device, robot, which moves the nozzle, and control unit, which controls the paint spraying from the nozzle operation and by the robot. Clamping device includes movable covering body, which covers the metal casing, closing the metal casing in detachable manner, and covers the boundary portion between the metal casing side edge portion and the blade body surface. Clamping device includes the covering body drive unit, which moves the movable covering body between the state in which the movable covering body covers the metal casing and the boundary portion, and the state, in which the movable covering body is separated from the metal casing, at the same time covering the metal casing and the boundary portion. Clamping device also includes control unit, which performs control in order to perform the transition from the coating application mode by means of plating, in which the paint is sprayed onto the blade body entire surface using the nozzle and robot with the metal casing and boundary portion covered by the movable covering body to the coating application mode, in which the paint is sprayed above the movable covering body onto at least boundary portion from the metal casing side edge portion and the boundary portion using the nozzle and robot with the movable covering body, separated from the metal casing by the covering body drive unit.

EFFECT: technical result of invention is provision of the opportunity to prevent the height difference formation, which will adversely affect the blade aerodynamic performance in the boundary portion between the metal casing side edge portion and the paint layer, formed on the blade surface in the vicinity of side edge portion.
